CEOs set to go under microscope at House hearing on ‘holding megabanks accountable’

CEOs from seven major U.S. banks are scheduled to face a grilling on Wednesday before a Democratic-led House committee. While new regulations are unlikely given Republican control of much of Washington, analysts warn that missteps by any executive could draw serious scrutiny. Henrietta Treyz of Veda Partners sums it up: “The hearing will absolutely be a free-for-all with a robust discussion of capitalism vs. socialism.”
